Allium Partners is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephanie Smothers to Sterling Bay Companies as Senior Interior Designer. Stephanie will lead the interior design function for all of Sterling Bay’s developments and redevelopments.

Stephanie joins Sterling Bay from Eastlake Studio, where she was a Senior Designer. Smothers received numerous awards while at Eastlake, including Crain’s “2016 Chicago’s Coolest Offices” for her work with Pandora Radio.

Sterling Bay is a rapidly growing Chicago based real estate investment and development company with expertise in development, construction, acquisition, leasing and management of commercial properties. The company targets overlooked and undervalued assets in emerging CBD locations and has been actively investing in opportunistic real estate transactions since 1986.

The company’s newest initiatives have focused on ground-up development, including a 159-room boutique hotel in the Fulton Market District; the 200,000 square foot C.H. Robinson office development adjacent to the company’s A. Finkl & Sons mixed-use development in Lincoln Park; and the 600,000 square foot McDonald’s HQ development on the former site of Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios.
