We are pleased to announce that Allium Partners assisted the senior management team at Retail Properties of America (RPAI) in filling three crucial roles at the company.

We recruited Dan Slattery as a Senior Vice President and Head of Development. Dan will report directly to Shane Garrison, RPAI’s Chief Operating Officer. He had earlier worked at Kimco Realty Corporation. Greg Goldberg has joined RPAI in Baltimore, Maryland as a Vice President of Leasing covering a 10 million square foot retail portfolio spanning the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the country. Greg previously worked at Uniwest Commercial Realty and Starwood Ceruzzi. For Angela Aman, the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, we recruited a Director of Capital Markets and Investor Relations. Our successful placement was Sarah Byrnes who had earlier worked at Equity Office Properties in a similar role.

Retail Properties of America, based in suburban Chicago, is a self-managed REIT focused on the acquisition, development and management of shopping centers. The company’s portfolio consists of over 300 properties totaling over 45 million square feet including, primarily, power, community, neighborhood and lifestyle centers across 35 states nationwide.
